Beschrijving Z-YVAD-FMK is een celpermeabele en irreversibele caspase-1 specifieke remmer met ontstekingsremmende en antitumoractiviteiten.

In vitro

Z-YVAD-FMK behandeling vermindert significant de verhoogde caspase-1 activiteit geïnduceerd door LPS+Aβ. Deze verbinding onderdrukt opmerkelijk de eiwitexpressies van gekliefd IL-1β, gekliefd IL-18 en Iba-1.
In Vivo

Z-YVAD-FMK is een celpermeabele caspase-6 remmer.

    BV2 cells are treated without or with EGCG (10 μM) or/and Z-YVAD-FMK (5 μM) for 1 h, followed by stimulationwith LPS (1 μg/mL) for 1 h and Aβ1-42 (10 μM) for 6 h. The cells are harvested at room temperature, and the protein concentration is determined by the Bradfordmethod. A calibration curve is constructed, and caspase-1 activity is calculated according to it.
