| Beschrijving | PEG300 (Polyethyleenglycol 300) is een watermengbaar polyether dat veel gebruikt wordt in de biochemie, structurele biologie en geneeskunde, naast de farmaceutische en chemische industrie. Het dient als een soort oplosmiddel, hulpstof, smeermiddel en chemisch reagens. Deze verbinding helpt bij de in situ vorming van hydrogels bij menging met zijde. Deze PEG-zijde hydrogels zijn van belang voor vele biomedische toepassingen, zoals anti-fouling en anti-adhesie. |
