In vitro In HCT116 darmkankercellen remt LY2584702 de fosforylering van het ribosomale S6-eiwit (pS6) met een IC50 van 0,1-0,24 μM. LY2584702 heeft aanzienlijke synergetische effecten in combinatie met EGFR-remmer erlotinib of met de mTOR-remmer everolimus.
In Vivo LY2584702 (12,5 mg/kg BID) vertoont een significante antitumorale werkzaamheid in zowel U87MG glioblastoom als HCT116 coloncarcinoom xenograftmodellen.
